VALENCIA CF FEMENINO DRAW AGAINST LEVANTE UD AT THE TEIKA DERBY (1-1)

Valencia CF Femenino held Levante UD Femenino to a 1-1 draw in the Teika Derby at Camp de Mestalla in front of 10,532 spectators on Sunday.

A cautious start from both teams, which was translating into moments of increased intensity, albeit at very short intervals. Valencia CF and Levante UD were not in control of the Teika Derby on a very hot afternoon.

It was Redondo who, in the 29th minute, broke the deadlock with a shot from the right-hand corner of the six-yard box. Anita Marcos equalised in the 33rd minute as the goa, also inside the six-yard box.

The first half was to be the most exciting in the interval before the end.

The start of the second half was similar to the first. The heat continued to be a handicap for both teams, who were still not comfortable.

Asun on the left flank was the most incisive from the home side. In fact, the player from Elche was stretchered off in the 62nd minute after a hard foul by the visitors. She was replaced by Chacón.

The passing of the minutes continued to offer an extremely even Teika Derby with no notable chances for either Valencia CF or Levante UD. However, the blanquinegras had more energy and were running into the opposition box frequently

Valencia CF Femenino looked for the win until the last minute but the scoreline remained unchanged and the derby finished in a 1-1draw.
